Paul Levinson - world famous media studies researcher - with a virtual lecture at WDIB UW.

Professor Paul Levinson will be a guest at the Faculty of Journalism, Information and Book Studies at the University of Warsaw. December 8 at 15.00, in the Column Hall building at ul. Bednarska 2/4, professor will give a lecture on the new media via Skype.

Professor Paul Levinson is a media and communication theorist, a student of Neil Postman. Currently lecturing at Fordham University in New York. Paul Levinson has published nine scientific books: The Soft Edge (1997, Poland 1999), Digital McLuhan (1999), Realspace (2003), Cellphone (2004) and New New Media (2009/2012, 2010), which have been discussed and reviewed in The New York Times, Wired, The Christian Science Monitor. Levinson's books have been translated into 10 languages.
