On March 16-19, 2023, a member of the team of the Laboratory of Media Studies of the University of Warsaw, Marcin Łączyński, participated in the conference and workshop for analog game developers: DESIGNER CAMP.
Designer Camp is a unique event that includes 4 days of lectures, game tests and networking with board game developers from all over Poland.
Designer Camp is organized by the Pamper testing group, which was established in Poznań in September 2018. Members of the group develop themselves as board game designers and motivate other authors to do so. In addition to cyclical meetings, the group is involved in the organization and support of many initiatives related to games and their design. He creates and tests his own games on an ongoing basis, organizes prototype zones at events such as Pyrkon or Targi Hobby, conducts workshops for children and teenagers, administers the nationwide TTS testing group on Facebook, prepares gadgets for designers, conducts lectures, podcasts and lectures, cooperates with publishing houses among others in the field of tests, but above all we organize cyclical conventions of the board game industry under the name Designer Camp.
