{nomultithumb}On the first day - November 21 - of the 15th National Methodological Conference of Media Experts, there will be a methodological workshop - "Data visualization - useful tools".

The workshop will be conducted by Danuta Pawłowska, an expert with many years of experience in the field of data analysis and visualization.

During the workshop:

• we will talk about how to think about data in the context of effectively communicating conclusions, telling stories with their help - so that presentations and texts are not only informative, but also engaging

• we will present various tools that facilitate the creation of visualizations, we will discuss their functions and applications in the context of scientific research

• we will discuss best practices in the field of visualization design - how to avoid common mistakes and increase the clarity of communication of research results.

Ms. Danuta Pawłowska - master engineer of mechanics and economics, graduate of the University of Technology and postgraduate journalism studies. She was an auditor at Deloitte and verified the balance sheets of listed companies and public institutions. In the weekly "Polityka" she prepared economic rankings, while in "Dziennik" she dealt with EU affairs and spent several months in the European Parliament. The love for spreadsheets has returned, and data journalism has logically combined all previous features. He has been working in the BIQdata team since 2016. He deals with data analysis and visualization and cooperation with data departments in European media.
