We are pleased to announce that Prof. Tomasz Gackowski, Head of the Laboratory of Media Studies at the University of Warsaw (LBM UW), will speak at the 26th Public Relations Congress, which will take place on 24–25 September 2026 in Rzeszów, Poland. As part of the event, he will deliver a presentation entitled: “Polarized Media – On the Sources of Disinformation in the Age of Post-Truth”.

This year's edition of the Congress is held under the theme “Between Fact and Falsehood: How to Verify Reality in the Digital World?” and will focus on the challenges associated with assessing the credibility of information, countering disinformation, and building responsible communication in the digital environment.

The Public Relations Congress is one of the most important professional events of its kind in Poland. For more than 25 years, it has provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience among public relations practitioners, representatives of business and media, and members of the academic community. Over the years, the Congress has brought together more than 5,200 participants, while 1,350 speakers representing various areas of communication have shared their expertise and insights.
