On September 18, 2026, the Media Research Lab at the University of Warsaw had the pleasure of hosting participants of the International Political Science Association - Polish Political Science Association (IPSA-PPSA) Summer School from Poznań, dedicated to transforming politics and media in the age of artificial intelligence.

Prof. Tomasz Gackowski, Head of LBM, presented the scope of research conducted at the lab. Adam Balcerzak introduced our guests to selected projects and the advanced equipment used in our analyses.

Participants took part in a pilot study using eyetracking and facetracking technologies with the iMotions system. They also had the chance to experience a VR headset in a simulation app developed together with the French military academy Saint-Cyr, as well as in a typical arcade game.
