Marcin Łączyński from LBM at the DESIGNER CAMP conference
On March 16-19, 2023, a member of the team of the Laboratory of Media Studies of the University of Warsaw, Marcin Łączyński, participated in the conference and workshop for analog game developers: DESIGNER CAMP.
Designer Camp is a unique event that includes 4 days of lectures, game tests and networking with board game developers from all over Poland.
The LBM team at the #WaMaMarketing conference in Olsztyn
The team of the Laboratory of Media Studies composed of: prof. UW dr hab. Tomasz Gackowski, Marcin Łączyński, MA and Eng. Adam Balcerzak took part in the #WaMaMarketing conference in Olsztyn on March 14, 2023.
Our team led by prof. UW dr. hab. Tomasz Gackowski presented technical solutions in the field of biometrics and Virtual Reality along with their research and marketing applications.
Members of the LBM UW team co-host the mini-track "Biometrics in Product and Service Design" at the HICSS-57 conference
We are excited to announce that the Laboratory of Media Studies team members will co-host a minitrack "Biometrics in Product and Service Design" at the 57th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-57) in January 2024!
The minitrack will focus on the latest research using data acquired through biometric and behavioral measurements in product and service design. It is scheduled as part of the "Decision Analytics and Service Science" track at the HICSS-57 conference.
The co-chairs of the minitrack will be prof. Caja Thimm (University of Bonn), prof. Piotr Siuda (Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz), prof. Tomasz Gackowski (University of Warsaw) and dr Karolina Brylska (University of Warsaw).

Visit to Saint-Cyr Military Academy (Guer, France)
On January 5-6 2023, a representative of LBM, Eng. Adam Balcerzak visited the Saint-Cyr Military Academy (France).
During the visit, we summarized the effects of the project co-implemented in recent months with cadets from Saint-Cyr: Pierre Pailleux and Justin Perrot, under the substantive supervision of prof. Aline Hauffschmitt.
On behalf of LBM, the project was implemented by Marcin Łączyński, MSc and Eng. Adam Balcerzak under the supervision of prof. Tomasz Gackowski.
