A strong representation of the Laboratory for Media Studies at the “Breakthroughs” Conference!
We’ve just completed two inspiring days of discussions on the latest research in the humanities and social sciences.
Many thanks to the organizers for creating a space for exchanging ideas and reflecting on the future of media and technology research.
On Thursday and Friday, members of our team participated in the conference organized by the Mediatization ECREA section, where Marlena Sztyber-Popko serves as vice-chair and prof. Tomasz Gackowski as co-chair.
The conference opened with an outstanding keynote lecture by Simone Natale from the University of Turin titled “AI and the Automation of Deception”.
We’re excited to announce that LBM has established a partnership with the VPS hosting provider Mikr.us!
As part of this collaboration, students enrolled in courses taught by LBM team members will receive free 12-month access to their own VPS machine (Mikrus 2.1).
A big thank-you to the Mikr.us team for their support and openness to collaboration!
This time we’re in Roermond, the Netherlands, where as part of the DECA – Developing Energy Communities Approach project, Marcin Łączyński, together with the Co-Authors, presented the educational game Neighborhood with Climate.
The project is implemented in Poland by the Mazovian Energy Agency, with demonstrations joined by representatives from SGGW and the University of Warsaw.
During the visit, participants had the unique opportunity to explore a flood management center – truly impressive!
Huge congratulations to the whole Team!
