LBM at CoLIS2025 in Glasgow
Professor Anna Mierzecka was a speaker at the 12th edition of the International Conference on Conceptions of Library and Information Science (CoLIS), held at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
As part of the conference, Professor Mierzecka, together with the PubLIB research team, presented a paper titled "Public Library Services for Migrants in National Government Policies Across Eight European Countries: A Comparative Analysis".
LBM in Rome
Last week in Rome, an inspiring PhD Workshop took place as the opening event of the EMMA – European Media Management Association conference. The event was attended by PhD candidates collaborating with LBM – Dagmara Sidyk-Furman and Dominika Stawicka.
Dagmara presented a project conducted at LBM – The Use of AI Chatbots in Newsroom Workflows: A Biometric Experiment, while Dominika showcased her doctoral research project – On the Threshold of the Audiovisual Revolution. Sports Broadcasting in Streaming Services. International Content Distribution Models Using Selected Sports as Examples.
