Visiting Professorship at the Jagiellonian University
In May, prof. Tomasz Gackowski was hosted as a visiting professor at the Institute of Journalism, Media and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University.
During his three-week stay, he delivered, among others, an expert lecture entitled: “Surveys in the service of science. Opinions of Poles over the years in CATI Research at the Laboartory of Media Studies UW”.
The lecture was part of the project: “How to Study Public Opinion in a Digitalized World? Conceptualization – Methods – Techniques”, led by prof. Agnieszka Hess, as well as the COST Action What are Opinions? Integrating Theory and Methods for Automatically Analyzing Opinionated Communication.
